Sant Seva
In the Hindu tradition, a sadhu is someone who has renounced worldly attachments, dedicating life to spiritual practice, self‑discipline and pursuit of truth.
These individuals often live simply, relying on alms, meditation, teaching, and the charity of householders.
Serving such sadhus—by offering food, clothing, shelter, respect, or other help—is an act deeply embedded in Hindu values of seva (selfless service) and dāna (charity) and is considered spiritually significant.
We distributed food and other essential items like towels, jholas, raincoats etc to the sadhus in the Shraavan month of July.
